Technical Support Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Engineer. This externally based role will require you to travel nationally, providing technical support in Power, Water, Utilities, Land Drainage, Ports, Quarries and Poultry Processing.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Engineer. This newly created role will require the individual to work nationally across the UK ensuring they provide technical support in the area of Power, Water, Utilities, Land Drainage, Ports, Quarries and Poultry Processing.
Principally experienced in pump service and repair, you will be responsible end to end project management including cost estimates for equipment and labour, identification of specific products and solutions, implementation and customer liaison.
In addition, there is the opportunity for you to expand our customer base by developing and acquiring new accounts.
Applicants would ideally have experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering together with the practical ability to install/fault find and service pumps. As the position is based nationally, a full clean driving licence will be required.
- Provision of technical support, including site surveys where necessary across the AxFlow bases nationally
- Provision of cost estimates for equipment and labour to include customer presentations and quotations
- To offer hands on technical support during customer shutdowns
- To understand customer requirements both internally and externally to offer the best technical solutions
- To maximise sales and quotations for a defined market sector
- To establish relationships with customers to deliver customer excellence
Relevant training will be provided where necessary and the successful candidate must comply with all Health & Safety regulations onsite
