Centork

The company was founded in 1968 as Centralair, a pneumatic component distributor. Based in San Sebastian, Spain, Centork first started developing an electric actuator range in 1994. The design incorporated a patented Planetary Torque Control System (PTCS) gear design suitable for electric motor, rotary hydraulic or rotary pneumatic drives. The company was certified ISO9001/ISO9002 in 1996 and went on to introduce the 400 series electric actuators at ACHEMA – Frankfurt in 1997. Since then Centork has manufactured and delivered actuators to a growing global customer base across a broad range of industries with sales and customer service representatives in over 32 countries.
