Gasket plate heat exchangers for sanitary applications

Having invented plate heat exchangers in 1923, APV continue to pioneer designs of this technology for effective use in the food, pharmaceutical and industrial markets. APV’s large range of plate technologies give our customers optimal energy usage, minimise downtime, and so maximise profitability. Suitable for low and medium viscosity products, APV’s plate heat exchangers are used for heating, cooling, condensing and evaporation applications.

Key specifications

  • Pressure Up To 25 bar

Product features

  • Plates are designed to give efficient flow distribution across the plate and promote turbulence, minimizing fouling.
  • Improved hanging area for quicker Plate hanging during assembly and better alignment.
  • APV’s “Corner Lock” and “Bubble Lock” systems ensure a stable and well aligned plate pack every time.
  • Different plate technologies, such as Energy saver, DuraFlow, Easyflow and others give optimal solutions for each application type
  • DuoSafety double walled plates reduce the risk of contamination between product and service media.
  • APV’s Para Clip and Easy Clip gasket technology ensure a fast, secure and aligned gasket installation. Locking Tabs form part of the gasket string, preventing them from breaking off
