Product description
The Viking Universal Generation 4 internal gear pumps are engineered for demanding applications across a wide range of industrial processes.
Viking Universal gear pumps are used to handle chemicals with low to very high viscosity over a broad temperature range. They deliver outstanding durability and reliability when operating with highly abrasive, particle-laden media. Even when handling sticky or crystallising products, these high-performance gear pumps maintain a consistent flow rate. Typical media include adhesives, glues, resins, bitumen, latex, plastics, paints and coatings, soaps, detergents, as well as chocolate and caramel. For concentrated acids and alkalis, Viking Universal gear pumps are available not only in cast iron but also in corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
The new ProPort casing allows for a variety of port sizes and connection types on the same pump. This modular design provides exceptional flexibility when integrating the pump into different processes. In addition, all model variants are available with inline ports (180°). The unique range of configurations also enables future process adjustments without the need to replace the pump.
The U-Plus bearing housing supports multiple shaft sealing options, including packed gland seals, mechanical seals, cartridge mechanical seals, and the leakage-free, cost-efficient O-Pro O-ring seal. Switching between different sealing types can be carried out without extensive pump modification. Furthermore, Viking Universal gear pumps can be equipped with a heating jacket and a relief valve. As an option, the casing can be supplied with drillings for internal liquid circulation. A drain port with screw plug is integrated as standard.
High efficiency and future-proof performance: the robust and reliable design ensures long service life and minimal maintenance requirements. The modular concept offers a unique range of configurations on the market, providing flexibility for future developments. As an exclusive Viking Pump service and distribution partner, we are ready to support you in optimising your specific process.
