SANDPIPER TA Pulsation Dampeners is used where larger diaphragm pump systems need automatic pulsation control without constant manual adjustment. The series is relevant for engineers and maintenance teams that need controlled transfer, practical installation and reliable operation in processes where pump stoppages can quickly affect production continuity.
The TA series automatically adjusts by taking in or releasing compressed air from the air chamber after plant air is connected. This makes it useful for AODD systems where flow, pressure or operating conditions vary and a steadier discharge line is required.
The DA series is specified for the TA series as suitable for metallic pumps from 1 inch, equivalent to 25 mm. Plant air should not exceed 125 psi when applied to the dampener, and the unit adjusts to system requirements during operation.
Automatic damping can reduce hydraulic shock, pipe vibration and stress on downstream instruments. Correctly selected dampeners help improve process stability, support equipment life and reduce maintenance interventions related to pulsation-induced wear.
