Mono Control Panel PLC is used with Mono grinders and related equipment where blockage and overload can damage cutters, shafts or downstream process continuity. The control logic monitors operation and reacts automatically when the connected equipment stalls, reducing the need for immediate manual intervention.
When a blockage is detected, the controller reverses the direction of rotation within 60 seconds to attempt to clear the obstruction. If another blockage occurs within 60 seconds after the first event, the control current switches off automatically. This sequence is intended to protect the machine from repeated mechanical overload rather than allowing continuous restart attempts.
The documented configuration includes operating-time and ammeter functions, signal lights and a sheet-metal enclosure with IP54 protection. The exact motor starter, current settings and connected equipment must still be matched to the motor and grinder configuration being controlled.
From a maintenance perspective, automatic reversing and protective shutdown can reduce the risk of damage caused by persistent blockage. AxFlow can support selection, replacement and service of Mono control equipment together with the connected grinder or screening installation.
