Toptech Multiload II+ SMP is intended for loading points where one meter must be controlled accurately without the complexity of a full multi-arm preset. It supports custody-transfer workflows for petroleum liquids and related products and can operate as a stand-alone preset or exchange transaction data with terminal automation systems. This makes it relevant for smaller loading positions, upgrades of mechanical meter stacks and standardisation projects where operators want a modern common control platform.
The SMP configuration places the required I/O inside the enclosure for one meter and up to two additives. It provides four serial ports and two 10/100/1000 Mb Ethernet ports, while external I/O modules can be added when the application expands. Stand-alone functions include Driver/PIN validation, transaction storage and meter-ticket printing, and an integrated card reader is available as an option.
The current II+ hardware uses a larger operator display and updated keypad architecture compared with the previous Multiload II generation. Toptech also increased enclosure corrosion resistance and retained the previous generation's bottom mounting and conduit-entry locations to support practical upgrade projects. Exact metering approvals, hazardous-area certification and host-system requirements must still be checked for the selected installation.
For maintenance teams, the simplified single-meter architecture reduces the number of separate devices and interfaces that need to be supported at the loading point. AxFlow can support product selection, installed-base assessment and migration planning from older Multiload II hardware, including checks of meters, I/O, communications and terminal software.
