SIGMAWIG is an all-welded plate heat exchanger family for duties where elastomer gaskets in the heat-transfer zone are not suitable. Optimised embossing supports homogeneous distribution and turbulent counter-flow in a compact exchanger, while the plates are hermetically joined by TIG-welded seams. This extends the use of plate technology to demanding industrial applications where tightness and temperature capability are important.
