Lightnin Impellers is used in blending, solids suspension, gas dispersion, flocculation, heat transfer and high-viscosity mixing when the mixer drive is only part of the solution and the hydraulic result depends on selecting the correct impeller geometry for the fluid and vessel. For engineers, buyers and maintenance teams, the key question is not only mixer power but whether the selected drive, shaft, impeller and mounting arrangement will create the required circulation, shear, suspension or dispersion in the actual vessel.
The product is built around a broad portfolio of axial-flow, radial-flow, hydrofoil, gas-handling and high-viscosity impellers designed for different pumping, shear and dispersion objectives. This construction allows the mixer to be configured around vessel geometry, fluid properties, duty cycle and the process objective instead of treating all mixing duties as the same application.
The current Lightnin range includes A310/A510 hydrofoils, A315 gas-handling, A320 high-solidity hydrofoil, R100 Rushton turbine, R500 high-shear designs and multiple other dedicated impellers. These verified characteristics should be used together with tank dimensions, liquid density and viscosity, solids or gas loading, operating temperature and required batch result when selecting the final configuration.
