Lightnin H is used in small tanks, drums, IBCs, laboratory trials and light production duties when a simple vertical mixer is required for routine blending or suspension in relatively small vessels. For engineers, buyers and maintenance teams, the key question is not only mixer power but whether the selected drive, shaft, impeller and mounting arrangement will create the required circulation, shear, suspension or dispersion in the actual vessel.
The product is built around a compact direct-drive arrangement with clamp, quick-mount or hygienic flange possibilities and electric or air-drive configurations. This construction allows the mixer to be configured around vessel geometry, fluid properties, duty cycle and the process objective instead of treating all mixing duties as the same application.
Existing Lightnin/AxFlow product data positions the H mixer around small vessels, with 0.25 kW class drives, clamp or quick mounting and selected Tri-Clamp configurations. These verified characteristics should be used together with tank dimensions, liquid density and viscosity, solids or gas loading, operating temperature and required batch result when selecting the final configuration. AxFlow can help check the duty and identify the correct Lightnin configuration.
The simple direct-drive format reduces mechanical complexity and is well suited to duties where a larger gearbox mixer would add unnecessary cost and maintenance. Correct selection also supports predictable spare-parts planning and reduces the risk of downtime caused by under-sized mechanical components or an impeller that does not match the process.
