March May TE is a widely used sealless magnetic-drive centrifugal pump range for transferring and circulating aggressive or process-sensitive liquids. Typical duties include chemical transfer, chemical recirculation, fume scrubbers, electroplating and surface treatment, refrigeration systems, marine air conditioning, laboratory equipment and water treatment. The broad material and size choice allows the range to cover many compact process duties where secure containment and straightforward maintenance are priorities.

The TE uses a single-stage centrifugal hydraulic design with a magnetic coupling between the motor and impeller. Because torque is transmitted through the containment shell, the design avoids a dynamic mechanical shaft seal and therefore removes a common leakage and wear point. Depending on model, TE pumps are available in polypropylene, Ryton, PVDF or stainless steel, with threaded or flanged connection options to suit the installation.

The current TE range is published for flows up to 39.2 m³/h, heads up to 34.1 m, system pressure up to 13.7 bar and temperatures up to 121 °C. These are range-level maxima and are not available simultaneously on every model or material configuration, so the required operating point and chemical compatibility must be checked against the selected pump. Selection should also consider specific gravity, viscosity, solids content, NPSH, motor specification and any hazardous-area requirements.

The range is intended for duties where sealless pumping and material compatibility are important. The exact model should be selected from the required duty point and liquid properties.
Depending on model, March May TE pumps are available in polypropylene, Ryton, PVDF and stainless steel. This gives the range flexibility across many corrosive and process liquids.
