Grundfos CR is a vertical multistage centrifugal pump used for liquid transfer, circulation, pressure boosting, water treatment, irrigation and industrial utility systems. It is relevant where reliable hydraulic or dosing performance, predictable operating conditions and maintainable equipment are important to process continuity. AxFlow supplies Grundfos equipment and can support selection for the required duty.
The vertical multistage hydraulic design combines suction and discharge connections at the same level. The standard CR construction uses a cast-iron pump head and base with EN 1.4301/AISI 304 stainless-steel wetted components. The construction should be selected against the actual liquid, system curve, installation and control requirements so that the technical advantages translate into stable operation.
Published CR-family data include flow rates up to 320 m³/h, heads up to 400 m and operating pressures up to 40 bar, depending on configuration. These values describe the published series scope rather than a universal duty point, so the exact model, materials, pressure class and accessories must be verified for the application.
The modular multistage construction and broad connection/configuration range support service planning and adaptation to installed systems. This supports maintenance planning, reduces the risk of mismatched components and helps control downtime and lifecycle cost. Contact AxFlow for product selection, availability and a quote.
