Grundfos CRE is a variable-speed vertical multistage centrifugal pump used for pressure boosting, water supply, washing, water treatment, boiler feed, temperature control and industrial process systems. It is relevant where reliable hydraulic or dosing performance, predictable operating conditions and maintainable equipment are important to process continuity. AxFlow supplies Grundfos equipment and can support selection for the required duty.
CRE combines the CR multistage pump platform with an integrated variable-speed drive. Pump speed can be adjusted to match changing requirements for pressure, flow or temperature instead of operating continuously at one fixed duty point. The construction should be selected against the actual liquid, system curve, installation and control requirements so that the technical advantages translate into stable operation.
The CRE range is available across multiple flow and pressure sizes, with published configurations covering demanding industrial duties; wetted parts are available in stainless-steel constructions based on the CR platform. These values describe the published series scope rather than a universal duty point, so the exact model, materials, pressure class and accessories must be verified for the application.
Integrated speed control can reduce unnecessary energy use and mechanical loading when demand varies, while the CR platform supports established service and spare-parts routines. This supports maintenance planning, reduces the risk of mismatched components and helps control downtime and lifecycle cost. Contact AxFlow for product selection, availability and a quote.
