The Viking 324A series consists of internal gear pumps developed for transferring viscous liquids in a wide range of industrial and process applications. The pump handles flows from 500 to 1600 GPM, or 114 to 364 m³/h. It is designed for large-scale applications. Maximum pressure is 200 PSI, or 14 bar.
Tight internal clearances improve volumetric efficiency and support strong priming capability. This helps maintain consistent flow. It also supports efficient operation across different viscosities.
It handles viscosities from 28 to 2,000,000 SSU and temperatures from -60 to +450 °F, or -50 to +230 °C. Maximum speeds range from 280 to 350 RPM depending on model. These limits must match the application.
The pump supports flanged ASME/ANSI porting with opposite port configuration. Drive options include gear reducer and V-belt drives. Foot-mounted construction supports stable installation.
