The Viking 4223C series consists of internal gear pumps developed for the transfer of viscous liquids in a wide range of industrial and process applications. Typical uses include oils, chemicals, and other non-volatile fluids requiring consistent flow.These pumps provide smooth, low-pulsation flow with reliable suction performance, even at higher viscosities. It is used in refinery and petrochemical applications handling oils, fuels, and chemicals. The pump is suitable for extremely high-temperature processes. It performs reliably in demanding industrial environments.
The pump handles flows up to 500 GPM, or 114 m³/h. Multiple sizes allow accurate capacity selection. Maximum pressure is 200 PSI, or 14 bar.
The pump supports component mechanical seals, cartridge seals, and triple lip seals. The U-Plus™ bracket allows adaptation to different sealing requirements. This supports a wide range of process conditions.
It handles viscosities from 28 to 2,000,000 SSU and temperatures from -20 to +800 °F, or -30 to +430 °C. Maximum speeds range from 520 to 1750 RPM depending on size. These limits must match the application.
The pump supports flanged porting with right-angle and opposite configurations. Drive options include direct-mounted, gear reducer, and V-belt drives. Foot-mounted construction supports stable installation.
