Viking 4323A

Description

The Viking 4323A series consists of internal gear pumps developed for transferring viscous liquids in a wide range of industrial and process applications. Typical uses include oils, chemicals, and other fluids requiring steady and controlled flow. These pumps deliver smooth, low-pulsation performance with reliable suction characteristics, even at higher viscosities. The internal gear design ensures gentle fluid handling, making them suitable for shear-sensitive applications while maintaining consistent operation. The series is built for durability and long service life, featuring replaceable components and flexible sealing configurations. This allows adaptation to specific process requirements while simplifying maintenance in demanding operating environments.

It is used for crude oil, fuels, and lubricating oils in refinery and petrochemical applications. The pump is suitable for high-temperature processes. It performs reliably in demanding industrial environments.
The pump handles flows from 500 to 1600 GPM, or 114 to 364 m³/h. It is designed for high-capacity applications. Maximum pressure is 200 PSI, or 14 bar.
The pump supports component mechanical seals, cartridge seals, and triple lip seals. This allows adaptation to different process requirements. It supports operation across varied applications.
It handles viscosities from 28 to 2,000,000 SSU and temperatures from -20 to +800 °F, or -29 to +427 °C. Maximum speeds range from 280 to 350 RPM depending on model. These limits must match the application.
The pump supports flanged ASME/ANSI porting with opposite configuration. Drive options include direct-mounted, gear reducer, and V-belt drives. Foot-mounted construction supports stable installation.
