Viking 4324A

Description

The Viking 4324A series consists of internal gear pumps developed for transferring viscous liquids in a wide range of industrial and process applications. Typical uses include oils, chemicals, and other fluids requiring consistent and controlled flow. These pumps deliver smooth, low-pulsation performance with reliable suction capability, even at higher viscosities. The internal gear principle ensures gentle handling of fluids, supporting stable operation and reducing mechanical stress during continuous use.The series is built for durability and long service life, featuring replaceable components and flexible sealing configurations. This allows adaptation to specific process requirements while simplifying maintenance in demanding operating environments.

It is used for adhesives, asphalt, paints, and inks. The pump is suitable for non-corrosive fluids in high-capacity systems. It performs well in industrial transfer and processing applications.
The pump handles flows from 500 to 1600 GPM, or 114 to 364 m³/h. It is designed for large-scale applications. Maximum pressure is 200 PSI, or 14 bar.
Tight internal clearances improve volumetric efficiency and support strong priming capability. This helps maintain consistent flow. It supports efficient operation across varying viscosities.
It handles viscosities from 28 to 2,000,000 SSU and temperatures from -60 to +450 °F, or -50 to +230 °C. Maximum speeds range from 280 to 350 RPM depending on model. These limits must match the application.
The pump supports flanged ASME/ANSI porting with opposite configuration. Drive options include gear reducer drives. Foot-mounted construction supports stable installation.
