Viking 4724

Description

The Viking 4724 series consists of internal gear pumps developed for transferring viscous liquids in a wide range of industrial and process applications. Typical uses include oils, chemicals, and other fluids requiring consistent and controlled flow. These pumps deliver smooth, low-pulsation performance with reliable suction capability, even at higher viscosities. The internal gear principle ensures gentle handling of fluids, supporting stable operation and reducing mechanical stress during continuous use.The series is built with durable materials and features replaceable wear components to support long operational life. Configurable sealing options and flexible design allow adaptation to specific process requirements while simplifying maintenance.

It is used for chemical processing and temperature-sensitive fluid handling. The pump is suitable for low-flow applications requiring precise control. It performs well in specialized industrial processes.
The pump handles flows up to 5 GPM, or 1 m³/h. It is designed for low-capacity applications. Maximum pressure is 200 PSI, or 14 bar.
The jacketed bracket allows heating media such as steam or hot oil to circulate. This maintains a consistent temperature around the sealing area. It supports stable operation with temperature-sensitive fluids.
The behind-the-rotor mechanical seal prevents exposure of the shaft and bushing to the fluid. This reduces wear and contamination. It supports longer seal life.
The pump supports opposite porting configurations and multiple drive options including direct-mounted and gear reducer drives. Foot-mounted construction allows stable installation. Sealing is provided through a component mechanical seal.
