Product features
- Digital diaphragm dosing principle → Supports repeatable chemical feed across a wide operating range.
- DME capacity up to 940 l/h → Extends digital dosing to comparatively high chemical-feed rates.
- Turndown ratio up to 1:800 → Allows one pump to cover substantial variation in dosing demand.
- Adjustable slow mode for viscous liquids → Supports dosing of higher-viscosity chemicals within published limits.
- Pressure, flow or temperature control capability → Supports stable process conditions when demand changes.
- Predefined service kits → Groups routine wear parts for planned maintenance.
- Diaphragm, valves, screws and gaskets included in the supplied service scope → Supports structured preventive maintenance.
- Automatic opening above the set pressure → Helps protect the pump and downstream equipment from overpressure.
- Maintains a defined minimum backpressure → Improves dosing stability where downstream resistance is low or variable.
- Adjustable pressure setting → Allows the valve to be matched to dosing-system requirements.
Grundfos DME is a digital diaphragm dosing pump used for chemical dosing in water treatment, process water, wastewater, food and beverage, boiler feed and industrial treatment systems. It is relevant where reliable hydraulic or dosing performance, predictable operating conditions and maintainable equipment are important to process continuity. AxFlow supplies Grundfos equipment and can support selection for the required duty.
DME uses Digital Dosing technology with controlled diaphragm movement and a broad turndown range. The pump is intended to provide repeatable chemical feed while allowing operators to set dosing capacity directly and adapt operation to process requirements. The construction should be selected against the actual liquid, system curve, installation and control requirements so that the technical advantages translate into stable operation.
Grundfos publishes DME variants up to 940 l/h; DME 375-10 is rated up to 375 l/h at 10 bar and DME 940-4 up to 940 l/h at 4 bar, with a turndown ratio up to 1:800. These values describe the published series scope rather than a universal duty point, so the exact model, materials, pressure class and accessories must be verified for the application.
Digital control and a limited number of pump variants simplify sizing and operation, while planned diaphragm and valve service supports dosing reliability over the pump lifecycle. This supports maintenance planning, reduces the risk of mismatched components and helps control downtime and lifecycle cost. Contact AxFlow for product selection, availability and a quote.
