OBL R-OM is used for general dosing of non-corrosive liquids such as adhesives, emulsions, coatings, oils and lubricants. The series is relevant where chemical dosing accuracy, process containment and predictable operation affect product quality, safety or production continuity. It is supplied by AxFlow for professional users who need a technically matched metering pump rather than a generic transfer pump.
The pump is based on a plunger metering pump construction. Key construction details include flows up to 36 l/h, pressure up to 60 bar, packing seals and materials including AISI 316 L, PTFE, ceramic, FPM, hardened steel and tungsten carbide. These characteristics help the pump handle controlled dosing tasks while keeping the relationship between pump technology, medium properties and installation requirements clear during selection.
For selection, engineers should check the required flow, differential pressure, temperature, chemical compatibility, viscosity, control method and installation arrangement. Where actuator options, rupture detection, multiple heads or material alternatives are available, they should be matched to the process risk and maintenance strategy before ordering.
AxFlow supports product selection, availability checks, service planning and spare parts identification for OBL metering pumps. Correct pump configuration helps reduce dosing instability, avoid unnecessary maintenance interventions and protect process continuity, supporting a lower total cost of ownership over the operating life.
