Blue-White FLEXFLO M pumps are used where chemical feed must be accurate, controlled and simple to maintain. Typical applications include water treatment, wastewater treatment, chemical dosing and transfer duties where the pumped liquid should remain isolated from pump mechanisms. This is useful for aggressive, viscous, gaseous or shear-sensitive chemicals where leakage, loss of prime and unplanned downtime can affect process continuity.
The FLEXFLO peristaltic principle compresses a pump tube with rollers, so the medium only contacts the tube assembly. This reduces the number of wetted components and removes check valves and mechanical seals from the fluid path. Blue-White lists M3 performance at discharge pressures up to 125 PSI, with touchscreen controls and IP-rated M12 connection ports. Remote signal options include Pulse, 4-20 mA, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP and PROFIBUS on relevant models. FLEXFLO pumps are also equipped with patented Tube Failure Detection, which can stop the pump and energise a relay if conductive chemical is detected after tube rupture.
For maintenance teams, the practical value is controlled chemical feed with one main wear component: the tube. The isolated fluid path supports chemical compatibility checks by tube material, while TFD and automation signals help operators respond before a tube failure becomes a process or safety issue. AxFlow can help review the chemical, flow, pressure and control requirements and confirm availability of the correct Blue-White FLEXFLO M model.
