realAx ISI Food Grade is intended for food and beverage transfer and dosing where reliable containment, self-priming behaviour and straightforward maintenance are important. The peristaltic principle isolates the process liquid inside the hose or tube, making the range relevant for wastewater, chemical, food and other industrial duties when the selected elastomer is compatible with the medium.
The pump moves liquid by progressively compressing the flexible pumping element. This positive-displacement action provides repeatable flow without mechanical seals or check valves in the product path. Seal-less product path; dry-running and reversible operation.
The published range reaches up to 1.2 m³/h with differential pressure up to 8 bar. for dairy products, edible fats and oils, fruit purées, ready meals and beverages. These are range limits and the achievable duty depends on pump size, speed, hose or tube material and the actual process conditions.
For maintenance teams, the hose or tube is the principal product-contact wear component, which simplifies service planning compared with designs containing multiple wetted moving parts. Correct hose selection, inspection intervals and protection against excessive pressure help preserve dosing accuracy, reduce unplanned stoppages and support predictable lifecycle cost.
