realAx RP-100 Duplex

Description

realAx RP-100 Duplex is a duplex configuration based on the realAx RP-100 heavy-duty hose-pump platform. It is intended for applications where the robust RP shoe-compression principle is required together with greater combined output than a single pump head can provide. Each RP-100 pump head uses shoes to compress a reinforced hose, keeping the process medium inside the hose and away from mechanical seals. The peristaltic principle supports reversible operation and dry running, while the duplex arrangement can be configured to suit the required flow strategy and installation layout. The underlying RP-100 pump head has a displacement of 20.00 l/rev, a DN100 connection and a maximum working pressure of 15 bar. realAx states that duplex versions are available for greater output, but the final combined capacity depends on drive speed and configuration and should be confirmed for the specific duty.Lifecycle performance depends on correct hose compound, lubrication, speed and service planning for both pump heads. AxFlow can support sizing of the duplex arrangement, selection of hose materials and drives, and planning for service and critical spare parts.

realAx RP-100 Duplex is a duplex arrangement based on the realAx RP-100 heavy-duty peristaltic hose pump. It uses two pump heads to provide greater combined output than a single-head arrangement. The final system should be sized for the required duty.
Each RP-100 pump head is rated for a maximum working pressure of 15 bar. The connection size is DN100 and displacement is 20.00 l/rev per pump head. Combined system performance depends on drive and configuration.
The duplex arrangement provides two RP-100 pump heads in one system concept. This can increase combined output and gives more flexibility in how flow is managed. realAx does not publish one universal aggregate capacity for every duplex configuration.
The RP peristaltic principle can run dry because the medium remains inside the hose and there is no product-side mechanical seal. Dry-running limits still depend on the selected hose and operating conditions. AxFlow can review the duty if extended dry running is expected.
Maintenance centres on hose wear, lubrication and the compression components for both heads. Planned hose replacement helps reduce unplanned downtime. AxFlow can support service intervals and critical spare-parts planning.
