NOV Mono 2000 Scion is intended for demanding positive-displacement duties where high pressure, solids, viscosity or long transfer distances place significant mechanical loads on the pump. Typical applications include wastewater treatment, industrial slurries, polymers and chemicals, food-process products, mining duties and selected oil and gas services. The 2000 platform uses a gear-type universal joint to manage radial and thrust loads while maintaining controlled progressing cavity flow.
Scion technology updates the 2000 lineage with a shorter, lighter platform and revised component geometry. A hollow rotor reduces component weight and vibration, while simplified service interfaces are intended to make maintenance and rebuilds faster. The gear-joint configuration remains the defining drivetrain arrangement for 2000 Scion, supporting demanding loads where a robust mechanical connection is important.
Current NOV product data lists 2000 Series capacities up to 1,022 m³/h, pressures up to 103 bar and operating temperatures from -10 to 110 °C. These are family-level limits rather than a single universal duty point, and actual selection depends on pump size, speed, stator and rotor materials, product properties and required differential pressure.
