Product description

NOV Mono EZstrip Scion is intended for transfer duties where solids, viscosity or abrasive content make reliable positive-displacement pumping and practical maintenance important. Typical applications include municipal and industrial wastewater, sludge and slurry, mining, chemicals, food and beverage processing and other general industrial transfer duties. The progressing cavity principle provides controlled flow while the EZstrip maintain-in-place concept is aimed at reducing the disruption associated with routine service.

The Scion generation retains EZstrip service access while introducing a shorter, lighter pump platform. Updated rotor and stator geometry, a hollow rotor and simplified service interfaces reduce component weight and vibration, while access to the coupling rod and drive shaft allows major wear parts to be serviced without removing the suction or discharge pipework. NOV states that routine disassembly, de-ragging and service can be completed in as little as 30 minutes.

Current NOV product data lists capacities up to 225 m³/h, pressures up to 12 bar and operating temperatures from -10 to 100 °C for the EZstrip Transfer Pump platform. Scion also uses a free-moulded stator and modular service approach, allowing selected worn components to be replaced rather than changing more of the pump than necessary. Actual duty limits depend on pump size, materials, speed and process conditions.

For maintenance teams, the practical benefit is shorter intervention time and less pipework disturbance. Reduced weight and a more compact footprint can simplify handling and change-outs in restricted spaces, while replaceable wear components support lifecycle cost control. AxFlow can support sizing, material selection, commissioning, service and spare-parts planning for the specific application.

EZstrip Scion is intended for wastewater, sludge, slurry and industrial transfer duties where a progressing cavity pump is appropriate. NOV lists applications in municipal and industrial wastewater, mining, chemicals, food and beverage and other process industries. AxFlow can help confirm pump size, materials and operating point for the actual medium.
The maintain-in-place design allows major wear components to be accessed without removing suction or discharge pipework. NOV states that routine disassembly, de-ragging and service can be completed in as little as 30 minutes. This can reduce labour requirements and shorten planned downtime.
NOV lists the EZstrip Transfer Pump platform with capacities up to 225 m³/h and pressures up to 12 bar. The published temperature range is -10 to 100 °C. Actual allowable duty depends on pump size, speed, materials and the properties of the pumped medium.
Scion introduces shorter geometry, reduced component weight, a hollow rotor and simplified service interfaces. These changes are intended to reduce vibration and make installation, handling and maintenance easier. The core EZstrip maintain-in-place service concept is retained.
AxFlow can support pump selection, commissioning, service and spare-parts planning for NOV Mono equipment. Wear-part requirements should be matched to the installed pump size, stator, rotor and material configuration. Providing the pump identification and duty information helps AxFlow identify the correct service solution.
