Mono EZstrip remains relevant because many pumps are still installed in wastewater, sludge and industrial transfer duties. For these sites, the priority is no longer to present the classic platform as a new-generation product, but to keep existing equipment reliable through correct maintenance, wear-part replacement and application-specific support. AxFlow can help identify the installed pump from its type and serial details and assess repair versus replacement.

The original EZstrip maintain-in-place concept allows major wear components to be accessed without removing the suction and discharge pipework. Rotor, stator, drive-train and sealing work can therefore be planned around the installed arrangement, helping maintenance teams reduce disruption. Correct parts identification remains important because rotor, stator, seal and material configuration vary with pump size and duty.

The classic EZstrip transfer platform was published for capacities up to 225 m³/h, differential pressures up to 12 bar and temperatures from -10 to 100 °C. NOV introduced Scion as the next-generation progressive cavity platform in 2026, continuing the EZstrip maintenance concept with shorter and lighter components. These are family-level figures; actual installed-pump limits must be confirmed from the model and configuration.

For lifecycle planning, AxFlow can continue to support existing EZstrip pumps with service and spare parts where available. When the customer prefers to replace rather than repair, NOV Mono EZstrip Scion is the relevant current-generation route, but the duty point, dimensions, connections, materials and process conditions must be checked before replacement is specified.

EZstrip Scion or 2000 Scion is the relevant current platform depending on the installed pump and application. The replacement must still be engineered to the actual duty and installation.
