Product description

NOV Mono 2000 remains important as an installed-base product because many pumps continue to operate in high-pressure, solids-bearing and viscous transfer duties. The page therefore focuses on keeping those assets reliable through correct service and spare parts, while giving operators a clear route to the current generation when repair is no longer the preferred option. AxFlow can help identify the installed configuration and compare repair with replacement.

The classic 2000 platform uses a robust gear-joint drive arrangement suited to radial and thrust loads in demanding progressive cavity pump applications. Service planning should account for the rotor-stator set, universal joint components, sealing arrangement, gearbox and any duty-specific materials or coatings. Accurate serial-number and model identification is particularly important on older installations.

The 2000 family has historically covered demanding industrial duties with high flow and pressure capability. NOV now identifies Scion as the next-generation progression of its 2000 and EZstrip technologies, with the current 2000 Scion platform published up to 1,022 m³/h, 103 bar and -10 to 110 °C. These current Scion limits must not be assumed to be the limits of every legacy 2000 installation.

AxFlow supports the existing Mono 2000 installed base with service, maintenance and spare-parts identification where available. When the customer wants a new-generation replacement, NOV Mono 2000 Scion is the relevant platform to evaluate, with the final selection checked against the original duty, pipework, mounting, materials, speed and process requirements.

AxFlow can support many installed pumps with service and spare-parts identification. Exact availability depends on the model, serial number and configuration. Provide the pump identification details so the required parts can be checked.
Service requirements commonly involve wear and sealing components such as rotor, stator, seals and drivetrain parts depending on the pump. The exact parts must be matched to the installed configuration. AxFlow can help identify the correct components from the pump data.
That decision depends on pump condition, maintenance cost, process criticality and the remaining suitability of the installed configuration. A repair may be appropriate when the main equipment is sound and parts remain available. Replacement becomes more relevant when reliability, efficiency, parts availability or process requirements justify a new generation.
NOV has introduced the Scion progressive cavity pump generation based on the established EZstrip and 2000 technologies. EZstrip Scion or 2000 Scion is the relevant current platform depending on the installed pump and application. The replacement must still be engineered to the actual duty and installation.
Yes, AxFlow supports installed Mono equipment with service, spare parts and technical product identification. AxFlow can also assess the relevant Scion configuration for a planned replacement. Flow, pressure, media, materials, dimensions and connections should be checked before a new pump is specified.
