Product description

SAMPI RVP is a positive-displacement sliding-vane pump range for applications where reliable self-priming transfer, stable flow and compact installation are important. The family is used primarily for refined fuels and light petroleum products and can also be configured for selected industrial liquids such as solvents, resins and inks. This makes RVP relevant for tanker-truck loading and unloading, depot transfer and other duties where liquid properties and operating conditions have been checked against the selected pump configuration.

The pumping principle uses an eccentrically positioned rotor with sliding vanes. As the rotor turns, liquid is captured between the rotor, cam and vanes and displaced towards the outlet, while the self-adjusting polymer vanes compensate for wear. An integral bypass valve helps protect the pump and system against excessive differential pressure, and the self-priming construction can simplify transfer arrangements where suction conditions vary.

The range comprises RVP20, RVP25 and RVP30 with 2, 2.5 and 3 inch connections respectively. Depending on model, maximum published flow reaches 1,026 l/min; the series is rated for differential pressure up to 8.6 bar in the optional configuration, viscosity up to 4,250 cP and temperatures from -32 to +149 °C. Cast-iron construction is standard, a full-size 316 stainless-steel wear plate is used with the vane arrangement, and ATEX II 2 G versions can be supplied on request.

For lifecycle cost, the self-adjusting vane design helps maintain pumping performance as wear develops, while replaceable wear components support planned maintenance instead of premature pump replacement. SAMPI RVP pumps are primarily intended for refined fuels and light petroleum products. Special executions can also be selected for compatible industrial liquids such as solvents, resins and inks. The RVP family includes RVP20, RVP25 and RVP30. Their nominal connection sizes are 2, 2.5 and 3 inches respectively. The correct model should be selected from the required flow, speed, pressure, viscosity and installation conditions.
An eccentrically positioned rotor turns with sliding vanes inside the pump cam. Liquid is trapped in expanding cavities and displaced towards the discharge as the rotor turns. The self-adjusting vanes compensate for wear, helping maintain effective contact and pumping performance.
