Viking 432

Description

The 432 internal gear pump is used for handling fuel oils, glycols, and lube oils in light-duty applications. It is suited for systems requiring compact design and consistent flow in intermittent or continuous service. It delivers flows up to 20 GPM (4.5 m³/h) with pressures up to 250 PSI (17 bar). The pump operates across viscosities from 31 to 250,000 SSU, supporting stable transfer across a wide range of fluids. Constructed with a mechanical seal as standard, the pump provides reliable sealing for general industrial applications. A relief valve can be mounted on the casing or head to support safe operation. Optional steam-jacketed head enables temperature control for viscous fluids. Multiple porting and drive configurations allow flexible installation in compact system layouts.

It is used for fuel oils, glycols, and lubrication fluids. The pump is suitable for light-duty and compact installations. It performs well in general industrial and utility systems.
The pump handles flows up to 20 GPM, or 4.5 m³/h. Smaller sizes allow precise capacity selection. Maximum pressure is 250 PSI, or 17 bar.
The pump uses a mechanical seal as standard. This provides dependable sealing with reduced leakage compared to packing. It supports consistent operation in general applications.
It handles viscosities from 31 to 250,000 SSU and temperatures from -60 to +450 °F, or -50 to +230 °C. Maximum speeds reach up to 1800 RPM depending on model. These limits must match the application.
The pump supports NPT, right-angle, and opposite porting configurations. Drive options include direct-mounted, bracket-mounted, gear reducer, and V-belt drives. Motor-mounted configurations support compact installation.
