Let us help you find the right product from this series

Product features

  • Can be supplied with auxiliary spring to obtain faster sealing
  • The R check valve allows the fluid to flow through in one direction, it is opened by the fluid passing through and it closes due to the weight of the disc and the return of the fluid.
  • Optional auxiliary spring → enables faster closing when the process requires it
  • Optional hydraulic damping → reduces closing impact for large diameters or high water columns
  • DN50–DN1200 range → supports a broad range of pipeline sizes
  • Working pressure up to 40 bar depending on size → supports demanding industrial duties
  • Suitable for liquids with up to 5% suspended solids → broadens use in particle-bearing flows
  • Flow-direction arrow on the body → supports correct installation
  • Flanged construction available on request → provides additional installation flexibility
  • AxFlow service and spare-parts support → helps maintain the valve through its operating life

Product description

For high water loads or large valve diameters hydraulic damping systems can be incorporated which reduce the valve’s impact in the sealing. The R check valve allows the fluid to flow through in one direction, it is opened by the fluid passing through and it closes due to the weight of the disc and the return of the fluid.

They prevent reverse liquid flow by allowing flow in one direction only. The valve opens with the process flow and closes through disc weight and returning fluid. Typical applications include pumping stations, water systems and industrial process lines.
Standard sizes run from DN50 to DN1200, with larger sizes available on request. Maximum working pressure is 40, 25 or 16 bar depending on valve size. AxFlow can help verify the correct pressure limit for the required diameter.
CMO Valves states suitability for liquids containing up to 5% suspended solids. The one-piece body is shaped to support evacuation of solid particles from the flow path. Particle size, concentration and actual operating conditions should still be checked before selection.
An auxiliary spring is available when faster closing is required. Hydraulic damping can be used for high water columns or large valve diameters to reduce closing impact. AxFlow can help assess whether these options are appropriate for the system.
AxFlow can help identify the installed valve configuration and required spare parts. Service support can include condition assessment and planning of wear-part replacement. Provide the valve size, materials and identification details when requesting support.
