Product description

Noval S100-CS is a pipeline strainer for high-pressure process systems where mechanical contamination must be removed before the medium reaches sensitive valves, instruments or other equipment. By trapping solid particles, the strainer helps reduce erosion, blockage and premature wear further downstream.

AxFlow lists S100-CS in PN63–100, from DN15 to DN200, with other sizes available on request. The body can be produced from materials including 1.0460, 1.7335 and 1.0619, with other materials available, and the range can be supplied with weld-end or flanged connections. Working temperature is listed up to +550 °C and atmospheric sealing complies with TA-Luft requirements.

The effectiveness of a strainer depends on more than nominal pipe size. Mesh or perforation, allowable pressure drop, contamination load, cleaning interval and medium properties should all be considered so the unit protects equipment without creating excessive hydraulic resistance.

For total cost of ownership, planned inspection and cleaning are central because a blocked strainer can increase pressure loss and disturb the process. Correctly selected screen area and accessible maintenance reduce unplanned interventions and help protect more expensive downstream equipment. AxFlow can help specify the S100-CS configuration and support spare parts and maintenance planning.

S100-CS removes mechanical solid contamination from the process medium. This helps protect downstream valves and equipment from blockage and wear. The required screen specification should be selected for the actual contamination.
AxFlow lists standard sizes from DN15 to DN200. Other sizes can be supplied on request. Connection type and dimensions should be confirmed for the project piping.
AxFlow lists working temperatures up to +550 °C. The allowable pressure at temperature depends on materials and configuration. The complete pressure-temperature duty should be checked before selection.
Cleaning frequency depends on contamination load and allowable pressure drop. A rising differential pressure is a practical indication that the element requires inspection. Maintenance intervals should be based on actual process behaviour.
Yes, AxFlow can support selection based on medium, particle size and required protection level. Pressure drop and cleaning access should be considered at the same time. Contact AxFlow with the process data for product selection and a quote.
