Product description

Rotork IQ3 Pro Remote Hand Station is used for actuators installed in hazardous, inaccessible or inconvenient locations where dependable valve movement, clear status information and controlled process operation are important. The range is relevant to industrial users who need actuation matched to valve torque, duty cycle, environment and control architecture. Correct sizing is important because actuator selection affects valve seating, response, reliability and process availability.

The operating principle is based on remote interface using the same display and controls as IQ3 Pro, powered from the actuator. This gives operators a defined method of moving and monitoring the valve while reducing the need for separate external control components where integral controls are used. The exact configuration should be selected against valve type, required movement, power or air supply, control signal and hazardous-area requirements.

RHS Pro can operate, interrogate and configure compatible IQ3 Pro/IQT3 Pro actuators from up to 100 m away; it is not compatible with earlier IQ3 or IQT3 units. These verified parameters are useful selection points, but they do not replace sizing against the actual valve torque/thrust curve, duty, ambient conditions and site standards. AxFlow can help check the required actuator generation and configuration before quotation.

For lifecycle planning, actuator access, diagnostics, correct spare parts and a documented service strategy help reduce the risk of unplanned valve downtime. AxFlow can support product selection, service and spare-parts identification and can help assess replacement requirements when installed equipment reaches the end of its service life.

Rotork IQ3 Pro Remote Hand Station is used for actuators installed in hazardous, inaccessible or inconvenient locations. The exact application depends on valve type, required duty and selected configuration. AxFlow can help confirm whether the actuator fits the process requirement.
Selection should start with valve movement, required torque or thrust, duty cycle, power or air supply, control signals and installation environment. Hazardous-area and functional-safety requirements must also be checked where applicable. AxFlow can support sizing and configuration before quotation.
Key checks include valve torque or thrust, operating angle or travel, operating frequency, supply, ambient conditions, enclosure requirement and control interface. RHS Pro can operate, interrogate and configure compatible IQ3 Pro/IQT3 Pro actuators from up to 100 m away; it is not compatible with earlier IQ3 or IQT3 units. The final configuration should always be verified against the selected actuator size and Rotork documentation.
AxFlow can support identification of the installed unit, service planning and spare-parts requirements for Rotork actuators. Availability depends on the exact generation, size and configuration. Provide the actuator nameplate and application details when requesting support.
Replacement should be based on the installed actuator data and the valve requirement, not only the series name. Mechanical interfaces, output, supply, control architecture and certifications should be checked. AxFlow can help compare the installed Rotork IQ3 Pro Remote Hand Station configuration with an appropriate replacement.
