Product description

Noval GV100-CS-SS is a stainless cast-steel wedge gate valve for industrial pipelines that require reliable full-bore isolation at PN100. Gate-valve construction is particularly suited to applications where the valve normally operates fully open or fully closed and minimum pressure loss through the open valve is important.

The range is designed according to EN 1984 and is listed by AxFlow from DN50 to DN400, with other sizes available on request. The full-bore flow path helps limit hydraulic losses, atmospheric sealing meets TA-Luft requirements, and pneumatic or electric actuation can be supplied when remote operation is required.

As a wedge gate valve, GV100-CS-SS should be selected primarily for isolation rather than continuous throttling. Operating for long periods in a partly open position can increase velocity and local wear around the wedge and seats, so duty cycle, medium, temperature and pressure should be evaluated before specification.

For lifecycle performance, correct material selection, suitable actuator sizing and planned inspection of stem packing and seating surfaces are key. The stainless cast-steel construction is useful where corrosion resistance is required, while the full-bore design reduces energy loss during normal open operation.
