Orbinox Knife Gate Valves is a broad family of knife gate valves used for general industry, water, wastewater, pulp and paper, mining, slurry and bulk handling. It is intended for engineers and maintenance teams that need dependable isolation or flow control where the medium and operating conditions demand a purpose-built valve design.
The portfolio includes uni-directional, bi-directional, high-performance, through-conduit, slurry, high-pressure and bulk-handling constructions. Depending on family, Orbinox uses wafer, lug, full-flange, fabricated or cast bodies with metal, elastomer or rubber-sleeve sealing.
Current Orbinox families include EX, EB, EK, TL, VG and BC among many others. Size, working pressure, seat type, body material and actuator capability vary significantly by model, so technical data must be checked against the exact valve family.
Matching valve architecture to solids content, pressure direction and shut-off duty helps reduce seat wear, clogging and unplanned maintenance. AxFlow can compare the available Orbinox families and support configuration, service and spare-parts planning.
