AxFlow acquire Norpump in Norway
- Expands it's engineering and service offer and strengthens position.

AxFlow A/S , part of AxFlow Group has acquired Oslo-based Norpump, experts in the delivery of basic pumps and complete pump installations. The take-over, which was formalized in September 15, is a major development for AxFlow as it provides the Company with a substantial in-house engineering and maintenance resource.
"Norpump's focus on pump- and service solutions especially in the waste water segment made them a perfect fit with AxFlow", comments the acquisition Gunnar Ødegård, Managing Director of AxFlow A/S and continues: "Norpump's core competence, products and services perfectly complement AxFlow's offering to this segment and thus make it even more interesting for the customers."
Rolf A. Goderstad, the founder and Managing Director of Norpump is equally enthusiastic about the acquisition and says: "The increased marketing and financial strength of AxFlow will ensure further development of Norpump's products and services."
Norpump have been established in 2001in Kaldbakken Oslo and their total turnover in 2010 reached 30 MNOK. Together with AxFlow the new Company turns over almost 170 MNOK with 49 employees.
