AxFlow UK acquires British based Thames Valley Pumps

Thames Valley Pumps will continue providing pumps, service, repair and maintenance to pump users from its established premises operating as AxFlow's division in Windsor under the existing management team of Frank Moszkal and Bob Jervis.

Announcing the acquisition, AxFlow Limited Managing Director Tony Peters said: "As a leading supplier of pumps in the GB, it is essential that we keep pace with the changing needs of our customers who wish to single source both pumps and pump servicing. Thames Valley Pumps is a successful business that mirrors our pump maintenance and repair operations in Huddersfield and Aberdeen. The highly skilled engineering resources built up by Thames Valley Pumps over 13 years will enable AxFlow to further develop its service support facilities to customers throughout the South and open up new and exciting opportunities for the Windsor operation."

In Great Britain, AxFlow has enjoyed continuous growth for the past seven years and the acquisition of Thames Valley Pumps demonstrates its long-term commitment to provide 'local' pump service throughout the whole of the country. "This acquisition will position us as the number one provider of pumps and service repairs in the South of England and assist us in strengthening our nationwide network of service/repair sites," continued Tony Peters. "It makes great business sense to bring the two companies together because it means that AxFlow will have the engineering skill-set to repair almost any type of pump both at the Windsor base and at customers' premises. Equally as important, both organisations will be able to benefit from sharing their collective knowledge and experience of very different markets in which they have operated for many years."
