Induchem Group Ireland, part of AxFlow Group, has acquired MAAS Ltd

Strategic acquisition strengthens value-added engineered product offering and expands presence in MedTech and Pharma sectors.

Founded more than 30 years ago in Cork, Manufacturing Assembly Aid Systems Limited (MAAS) is a niche precision machine house providing manufacturing engineering services, including design, product development, manufacturing, and the supply of machined parts and components.

The company serves a diverse customer base of multinational and Irish-owned manufacturing companies across sectors such as Medical Devices, Pharma, Automotive, Industrial Automation & Robotics, Environmental, and Food & Beverage. Approximately 50% of MAAS’s turnover is generated from the Medical and Pharma sectors.

“MAAS is an excellent strategic fit for Induchem Group,” said David Carroll, Head of Strategy at Induchem Group. “The company’s technical expertise, strong customer relationships, and value-add engineered solutions align perfectly with our growth strategy. By combining MAAS’s specialist capabilities with Induchem’s mature sales and market approach, we see significant opportunities to expand further within Pharma, Biotech, Medical, and other high-growth sectors.”

Under the new ownership, Induchem Group plans to leverage its established sales processes and market reach to further develop MAAS’s service offering, driving incremental sales while continuing to invest in technical excellence and customer service.

From MAAS’s perspective, the acquisition marks an important milestone in the company’s long-term development. “Joining Induchem Group and AxFlow is an exciting step for MAAS,” said Tadhg Hurley, Managing Director of MAAS Ltd“This partnership provides us with the platform, resources, and commercial support to strengthen our sales capability, diversify into new growth segments, and accelerate our long-term growth ambitions—while continuing to deliver the high-quality engineering solutions our customers expect.”

MAAS will continue to operate from its Cork facility, with its existing management team and employees remaining in place, ensuring continuity for customers and partners.
