Dosing of chemicals in the production of silicones
Skid unit for storage and dosing of key chemical compounds in silicon production.
The process begins with the connection of barrels for nitrogen blanketing and pumping the input material using a stainless steel AODD pump into a storage tank, which is also inerted with nitrogen and placed on a strain gauge scale.
Dosing is provided by a piston-diaphragm pump
with the possibility of partial recirculation back into the tank
for stable displacement. The unit is structurally adapted for installation in an ATEX container.
