SANDPIPER High Pressure is used where filter-press feed, pressure transfer or process duties need higher discharge pressure with pneumatic pump simplicity. The series is relevant for engineers and maintenance teams that need controlled transfer, practical installation and reliable operation in processes where pump stoppages can quickly affect production continuity.
The series uses an air-powered diaphragm concept configured for higher pressure service. It is relevant where variable air supply, dead-head tolerance and diaphragm pump serviceability are useful, but the application requires more discharge pressure than a standard duty pump can provide.
High-pressure metallic pumps support discharge pressures up to 250 PSI, equivalent to 17 bar. The pumps are described as suitable for filter-press feed and available in aluminium, cast iron and stainless steel with various elastomer options.
For users, the value is pressure capability without changing to a mechanically sealed pump technology when the duty is suitable. Correct sizing and elastomer selection support stable feed performance, easier maintenance planning and reduced risk of unplanned stoppages in pressure-critical applications.
