The gasketed plate pack allows thermal duty and service access to be adapted through the selected plate and gasket configuration. Correct thermal sizing is required to control pressure drop and approach temperature.Final selection must consider heat load, inlet and outlet temperatures, media composition, fouling tendency, design pressure and allowable pressure drop.
