Product Description

Honeywell Enraf Servo 954 is intended for storage tanks where operators need more than a single level value. Depending on configuration, the gauge can measure product level, interface level, density, water bottom and temperature, making it relevant for refineries, terminals, chemicals and other bulk-liquid storage duties. High measurement repeatability supports inventory control and regulated custody-transfer workflows.

The servo principle uses a displacer suspended from a precision measuring wire and controlled by an electronic force-measurement system. By maintaining the displacer at a defined buoyancy point, the instrument can determine level and perform interface or density measurements when equipped accordingly. The modular design also supports VITO temperature/water probes, RTD inputs and HART devices, allowing one gauge to integrate several tank parameters.

Honeywell specifies level measuring ranges up to 150 m with selected measuring-wire configurations and level accuracy below ±0.4 mm up to 40 m in Xtreme Performance versions. Process temperature is specified from -200 to +200 °C, with high-pressure versions up to 40 bar and other versions up to 6 bar. Communication options include Honeywell Bi-phase Mark, TRL/2, Modbus RTU and HART 7, and selected configurations support OIML R85 and SIL-related functions.

The modular architecture supports maintenance and migration from installed Enraf platforms without requiring users to treat every tank as a greenfield project. Measurement wires, displacers, seals, tank connections, fieldbus architecture and legal-metrology requirements should nevertheless be reviewed before service or replacement. AxFlow can help identify the correct Servo 954 configuration, plan service and assess migration from older Enraf servo gauges.

Depending on configuration, Servo 954 can measure product level, interface level, density, water bottom and temperature. It can also accept VITO, RTD and HART inputs for integrated tank measurement. The required functions should be defined before selecting the gauge configuration.
Honeywell specifies level accuracy below ±0.4 mm up to 40 m for selected Xtreme Performance versions and ±1 mm at 45 m. Repeatability and sensitivity are specified at 0.1 mm or better. Actual performance depends on the selected configuration, installation and calibration.
Honeywell specifies process temperatures from -200 to +200 °C. High-pressure H versions are rated up to 40 bar, while M and C versions are rated up to 6 bar. The correct tank connection, seal and material configuration must be checked for the stored product.
The gauge supports Honeywell Bi-phase Mark, TRL/2, Modbus RTU, HART 7 and other communication options depending on configuration. This makes it suitable for many existing Enraf tank-gauging architectures. Interface compatibility and host-system configuration should still be verified during engineering.
AxFlow can help assess migration from older Enraf servo gauges to Servo 954. Existing wiring, fieldbus, tank connection, measuring range, legal-metrology requirements and safety functions should be reviewed first. This supports a controlled upgrade without assuming direct compatibility.
