OPW Compact Torsion Swivel (CTS) Hose Loader is used for bottom-loading installations with very tight riser spacing, including replacement of existing loading arms where space is limited. Its configuration is selected around the loading geometry and transfer duty. AxFlow can help define the appropriate arrangement for a specific terminal.
The verified operating principle is that the torsion spring is fully integrated into the swivel for a compact profile, with integral travel stops, 360° rotation and a removable end cap for maintenance. This provides the movement or control needed at the loading point. Exact configuration depends on the installed piping and connection requirements.
OPW documents that the CTS documentation specifies 862 kPa working pressure, -29°C to 60°C operating temperature and typical horizontal spacing of 279 mm. These values provide a basis for screening the application. Final selection must also consider the actual medium, pressure, temperature and site geometry.
Check available riser spacing, feed orientation, handedness, hose/coupler, media, temperature and whether the unit is replacing an existing arm. These parameters determine the suitable arm, material and connection arrangement. AxFlow can support product selection and availability checks.
AxFlow can support service and spare-parts enquiries for OPW loading equipment. The correct parts depend on the installed configuration and revision. Supplying identification details helps confirm the appropriate components before ordering.
