Product Description

Plenty TM Fixed Angle is used in industrial tanks where liquid movement has a direct effect on product uniformity, temperature distribution, sediment control or storage stability. It is suited to storage and process tanks where blending, homogeneity or temperature uniformity must be maintained with a defined, fixed flow direction. Typical selection factors include tank geometry, liquid properties, operating level, required circulation pattern and the consequences of poor mixing for product quality or maintenance.

The TM configuration uses a fixed-angle side-entry arrangement that produces a defined circulation pattern from the tank wall. The external drive and sealing system remain accessible outside the vessel, while the impeller creates the bulk flow required for blending and homogeneity. A fixed installation is appropriate when the required flow direction is known and does not need adjustment during operation.

The TM uses a heavy-duty belt drive with fire-resistant antistatic torque belts, a one-piece helical-pitch impeller and a positive tank shut-off device for seal and bearing service with the tank full. Exact motor, seal, material and mounting configuration should be matched to the tank, liquid and operating environment during selection.

From a lifecycle perspective, the side-entry arrangement can reduce the need for intrusive tank access while keeping major service components accessible from outside the vessel. Correct sizing and positioning help maintain process continuity, reduce the risk of stratification or sediment-related problems and support predictable maintenance planning. AxFlow can help confirm the correct Plenty configuration, materials and availability for the application.

Plenty TM Fixed Angle is used for industrial tank mixing and liquid circulation where product uniformity, temperature distribution or sediment behaviour must be controlled. The exact duty depends on tank geometry, liquid properties and the required flow pattern. AxFlow can help assess whether the configuration fits the application.
The TM is differentiated by its fixed-angle arrangement and belt drive concept. These construction choices influence flow direction, maintenance access and how the mixer is matched to the tank. Selection should therefore be based on the actual tank duty rather than series name alone.
Check tank dimensions, liquid level, density, viscosity, solids behaviour, required mixing objective, mounting position and operating environment. Motor power, seal arrangement, wetted materials and certification requirements must also match the duty. AxFlow can support the final configuration and availability check.
Key drive, bearing and sealing components are located outside the vessel, which supports external inspection and maintenance. Plenty side-entry platforms can also be configured with a positive tank shut-off arrangement for seal and bearing service under full-tank conditions. The exact service procedure depends on the selected configuration and site safety requirements.
AxFlow supplies Plenty mixing equipment and supports product selection for industrial tank applications. AxFlow can help identify the appropriate configuration, materials and service requirements for the duty. Contact AxFlow for availability, spare-parts support and a quotation.
