Bs booster stations are used for boosted-water supply for manual satellite stations and automated nozzle systems across food and beverage cleaning installations. They support hygiene teams where repeatable cleaning, safe operation and reliable access to water or chemicals are important for production continuity.
The BS family includes frequency-controlled single-pump and multi-pump booster stations for different system sizes and pressure requirements. Current variants use Grundfos IE5 pump motors, soft start/stop, direct pressure adjustment, dry-run protection and temperature monitoring.
BS variants cover operating pressures up to 20, 25 or 40 bar depending on model. Multi-pump BS stations reach up to 1,200 l/min and 40 users/workstations, while single-pump models cover smaller installations, including up to 10 users at 25 bar and two users at 40 bar.
Multi-pump configurations can continue at reduced flow if a pump or pressure transmitter fails, helping protect the cleaning cycle. Software-controlled operation and integrated protection functions reduce potential failure points and support service planning. AxFlow can support product selection, availability guidance, service and spare-parts planning for the required cleaning duty.
