- Duty-point review before purchase → reduces risk of selecting the wrong configuration
The Yamada NDP-5 is an air-operated double diaphragm pump for industrial fluid transfer where seal-less operation, compressed-air drive and service access matter. It is relevant for process machines, chemical transfer, batch handling and maintenance teams that need a compact positive-displacement pump without shaft seals, couplings or gearboxes. Yamada NDP pumps use a patented, non-lubricated air-valve concept with independent pilot mechanisms, bolted construction and replaceable common components. Verified source material lists a 1/4" / 5 mm fluid port, maximum flow up to 13 l/min and available wetted construction options including aluminum, stainless steel 316, PVDF/Kynar, groundable acetal and polypropylene where applicable. These data points help engineers check capacity, connection size and material suitability before selection. AxFlow can help compare the duty point, media, air supply, elastomer choice and spare parts needs. The construction supports maintainability and process continuity, helping reduce unplanned downtime risk and lifecycle cost when the correct model is selected.
