Product Description

Grundfos DME is intended for chemical dosing duties where repeatable metering and a broad adjustable capacity range are important to process control. The series is used in industrial and water-treatment systems and covers larger dosing quantities than compact SMART Digital S pumps. Correct selection must account for required dose rate, discharge pressure, liquid viscosity, chemical compatibility and control interface.

DME uses a digital diaphragm principle with an internal step-motor drive. Grundfos states a turn-down ratio of 1:800 with constant 100% stroke length, so capacity is controlled by stroke speed rather than by reducing stroke length. Adjustable SlowMode is available for high-viscosity liquids, and the manufacturer documentation lists control variants for integration with external signals and dosing systems.
