- PVC, PVDF or AISI 316 dosing heads → Provides verified material options for chemical-compatibility selection.
- EPDM or FKM O-rings → Allows seal material to be selected against the dosing chemical.
- DDA FlowControl, pressure monitoring and AutoFlowAdapt functions → Add process feedback and automatic flow adaptation where required.
SMART Digital XL is designed for applications that require controlled chemical dosing at capacities above the compact SMART Digital S range. It is relevant in industrial and water-treatment processes where dose rate, pressure, chemical compatibility and process feedback influence treatment quality and operating stability. The DDA and DDE variants allow the control level to be selected according to the application rather than using one interface for every duty.
The series uses a speed-controlled drive and digital diaphragm dosing principle. AxFlow lists DDA and DDE models, each available in 60, 120 and 200 l/h sizes. DDA variants add functions such as FlowControl with selective fault diagnosis, pressure monitoring, integrated flow measurement and AutoFlowAdapt, while DDE provides a simpler digital dosing interface for applications that do not need the full DDA function set.
AxFlow publishes SMART Digital XL performance up to 200 l/h and 10 bar and states dosing accuracy of ±1%. Pump heads are available in PVC, PVDF or AISI 316 stainless steel, with EPDM or FKM O-rings depending on configuration. These specifications must be checked against the chemical, required pressure and selected DDA or DDE size before ordering.
Digital capacity control can simplify commissioning and process adjustment compared with manual mechanical dosing settings. Selecting the appropriate DDA or DDE control level avoids unnecessary system complexity, while verified material options support chemical-compatibility planning. Matching service kits and accessories to the installed pump gives maintenance teams a clearer basis for planned intervention and helps reduce dosing-system downtime.
