Mono Epsilon Vertical is a progressing cavity pump for viscous, solids-bearing and shear-sensitive process liquids. It is relevant where process continuity depends on predictable handling rather than simple high-speed transfer, especially when viscosity, solids, shear sensitivity, blockage risk or installation constraints affect equipment selection. AxFlow supplies Mono equipment and supports duty-point, material and service planning for the application.
The operating principle provides steady positive-displacement transfer, helping operators stabilise the process and reduce avoidable stress on the product or downstream equipment. Selection should consider the actual medium, solids content, viscosity, pressure, temperature, suction conditions and installation layout rather than relying on nominal pump size alone.
The vertical Epsilon range reaches up to 420 m³/h, 24 bar and 110 °C and is available in cast iron or stainless steel. These characteristics provide practical engineering boundaries for preliminary selection; final configuration must be matched to the exact duty and material compatibility requirements.
From a lifecycle perspective, correct sizing, suitable wetted materials and planned replacement of wear parts are central to reliable operation. Service access and the availability of the correct Mono spare parts can reduce maintenance time and help limit the risk of unplanned stoppages. Contact AxFlow for product selection, service support, spare parts and availability.
