RONDS RH505 is intended for wireless condition monitoring where vibration and temperature trends are required without installing signal cabling to every measurement point. It is suitable for pumps, motors, fans, gearboxes and other rotating machinery where changes in vibration behaviour can support condition-based maintenance planning.
The sensor combines a piezoelectric vibration channel with temperature measurement and wireless data transmission to compatible RONDS collection infrastructure. Current RONDS specifications give a vibration frequency response of 2 Hz to 20 kHz, a peak vibration range of +/-50 g, waveform lengths up to 128K and IP68 ingress protection.
RONDS specifies an 8.5 Ah lithium-thionyl-chloride battery and Zigbee communication. Current documentation also lists ATEX and IECEx options with Ex ia IIC T4 marking for Zones 0, 1 and 2, so hazardous-area suitability can be evaluated against the exact project configuration.
Wireless installation can reduce cabling work and make permanent monitoring practical across dispersed assets, while the broad vibration bandwidth supports both trending and diagnostic analysis. AxFlow can support sensor and monitoring-system selection, integration planning and service requirements.
