Installation kits are relevant when a dosing pump must be commissioned with matched suction, discharge, injection and vent components rather than sourcing each part separately. This can simplify new chemical-feed installations and make the bill of materials more consistent across repeated dosing points. The exact kit still has to match pump size, connection dimensions, liquid chemistry and pressure requirements.
Grundfos and AxFlow describe a typical installation set with two pump connections, a foot valve, an injection unit, discharge tubing, suction tubing and vent tubing.
